Triumph ERP empowers the growth of WA business

WT Hydraulics

WT Hydraulics is a Kalgoorlie-based company specialising in the design, sales, service and repairs of hydraulic components and equipment. With three branches across WA, WT Hydraulics services the agriculture, forestry, mining, marine, and oil and gas sectors.

For the past sixteen years, WT Hydraulics has been solving complex hydraulic problems through innovation and the use of wise technology. They have demonstrated that oil thrown away by heavy machinery and fixed plants can be cleaned and reused, again and again.

Wise technology is driven by the use of smart systems and the implementation of knowledge and wisdom, resulting in technologically-sound solutions.

“It is the Wise Technology approach that has enabled WT Hydraulics to grow from one branch in Kalgoorlie in 2001 to now operating in Perth, Kalgoorlie and Esperance,” Says Mr Kraige Cooper, Managing Director of WT Hydraulics.

“By establishing a working team with our suppliers, branches, technicians, engineers, and most importantly our customers, we are able to identify the best possible outcome with the available resources.”

With WT Hydraulics continued success, the need for a software system that grew with the business was essential. In 2010, WT Hydraulics’ upgraded their old software system to a Triumph software package.

“We decided to switch to Triumph because the system would enable growth without having to spend thousands of dollars on a purpose written SAP software system.”

Having a sales side and an operations side to the business, the base financial package plus the Sales Orders Entry, Job Costing and Quoting, Multi-Location, Stock Transfers, Bill of Materials, and Purchase Requisition modules, were the perfect choice for WT Hydraulics.

“Having the Sales Order Entry module and the Job Costing module, we are able to conduct all of our operations through Triumph without setting up work around systems. We also have the multi-location module which is good for stock control while the general ledger enables us to keep a check on individual branch performance.”

“We have also been able to link the Triumph database with a document management system which has enabled us to streamline our job procedures and view it via a tablet. This allows our technicians to have all the information at their fingertips.”
